Bring a state issued driver's license or state issued ID card AND a social security card or birth certificate, and a schedule of when you can start working and what type of hours you are looking for.


Tips on Interviewing
You need to be prepared for an interview and ready to make a positive impression. Here are a few tips on how to ace your interview:

  • Plan to be here 10-15 minutes before a scheduled interview.
  • Dress for success. Business casual attire is required for an interview. Jeans, shorts, sweatshirts, t-shirts, gym shoes, and hats are not acceptable. 
  • Be neat, clean and well groomed. Show that you are serious about working for The Beach by exhibiting a professional appearance.
  • Do not chew gum. 
  • Smile and make eye contact with your interviewer.
  • Shake the interviewer’s hand confidently at the beginning and end of the interview.
  • Speak clearly, confidently and with enthusiasm.
  • Sit up straight while waiting for the interview and during the interview. Good posture conveys confidence and respect.
  • Be polite, honest and sincere. 
  • Show interest in the job by asking questions. 

Lifeguard Information
Lifeguards are required to complete a Swim Test that will be scheduled with your Supervisor (Location TBA). Lifeguards also need to be CPR certified. Please contact the Red Cross, your school, or a YMCA to find out about classes available. Deep Water Lifeguards must be Lifeguard Certified.
